Cobb's Mill is actually fashioned after the Glade Creek
Grist Mill located at Babcock State Park in Clifftop, West
Virginia. My maiden name being "Cobb", I named my
Mill "Cobb's Mill" to pay tribute to my family.

Although this street in Jerusalem is now in ruins, when I saw a
picture of it I felt as if I'd been there long ago and felt compelled
to paint it as I imagined it. This painting has affected people in
many ways...reminding some of Italy, others of Spain. Some
associate it with romance, loneliness, or Mediterranean
adventures, while many feel a great spiritual connection.

My front porch is a great place to watch the world come to
life each morning. I confess, I added the ducks. Although I've
heard wild ducks nearby they haven't come to visit me yet.

The land in my log cabin painting is actually part of
"Shadow's Mountain,"our small Fayette County farm in
Southern West Virginia. We named it for "Shadow", a
large Belgian Shepherd who was living there but was
gracious enough to share his home with us.
